Which of these will tell you the price before you sign up?
This is a gut-health publication and its ranked shelf is a probiotic ranking, not a drug ranking. But we do link out to prescription GLP-1 programs, and it would be indefensible to send a reader to one we had never written up. So here they are — all 35 of them, scored on the question this publication actually cares about: 33 publish their price before the medical intake and 2 do not.
A supplement and a prescription drug are different decisions and we do not rank them against each other. If you are weighing the two, start with what the evidence actually shows about the gut–GLP-1 axis, or get the questions we are asked most, answered from this data.
Not an accusation of anything, and not a claim that the eventual price is bad — only that you cannot compare it before giving the company your medical history, which is the one thing this index measures.

See our disclosure. The score beside each name is about one question — can you find out what this costs before you hand over your medical history? — and it is dominated by that: whether the price is visible before the medical intake moves it further than anything else. The rest of it is the same question asked more carefully. A program is credited for naming the pharmacies that compound its medicine and for publishing a certification credential, and docked when the advertised rate needs a commitment, when a second fee sits outside it, when the seller's own terms say the published figure is not what it will charge, and when the FDA has a warning letter on file. What the price turns out to be is not an input at all.
