AMRx review

Price transparency

What is disclosed before intake, not a clinical rating.

AMRx provides an online weight-management application with licensed-provider review and ongoing support. Its public semaglutide offer starts at a $106 monthly equivalent when purchased quarterly; listed brand-name medicines start at an insurance-dependent $25. Those examples do not establish a complete ordinary cash month. The subscription policy separates ordinary membership from medication-inclusive Doctor programs, making the actual agreement more useful than the largest advertised discount.

The verdict

AMRx shows a price before the medical intake, but the advertised figure comes with conditions the headline leaves out, or its own terms don't fully back it up. It ranks 310 of 358 on price transparency.

The score beside AMRx's name rates how much it tells you before the medical intake — the price, the pharmacy and the terms — not how cheap it is.

What do you get with AMRx?

  • Online weight-care assessment and review through independent medical providers.
  • Prescription options that include compounded semaglutide and separately listed branded medicines.
  • Insurance navigation and support described within the weight-management program.
  • Medication-inclusive Doctor programs distinguished from ordinary access membership.
  • Patient account tools for recurring membership and clinical communication.

How does AMRx work?

  1. Start with the weight-care application

The current patient entry identifies weight loss as the selected care category and begins an online application. Explain your medical history, medicines, previous weight treatment and goals accurately. The clinician decides whether any prescription is suitable. Opening a patient account or selecting a treatment preference does not guarantee medical approval, coverage or the advertised lowest payment.

  2. Identify the responsible medical practice

The subscription policy identifies AM Rx, LLC, as the platform contracting party and names Bruno Health, P.A., and affiliated medical groups for provider services. Other site branding uses an Inc. suffix. Confirm the exact entity on your purchase agreement and the practice and clinician assigned to your state. Similar platform wording or another brand’s name in page copy does not settle who provides your care.

  3. Separate the insurance decision from the cash purchase

The weight page lists Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound and Mounjaro with insurance-dependent pricing, while semaglutide is separately advertised as a quarterly purchase. The medicines have different approved indications and access rules. Ask which exact product the clinician proposes and whether a coverage denial results in another offer, a new payment or an opportunity to stop before medication is ordered.

  4. Arrange continuing support and billing

The program describes clinician access and coaching, but obtain the actual follow-up schedule and contact route for side effects or dose questions. Ask who authorizes each refill and how pharmacy fulfillment relates to the access membership. Automatic renewal can continue even when an account is unused, so record the next billing date and cancellation confirmation rather than relying on a future shipment notice.

How much does AMRx cost?

Semaglutide

Compounded semaglutide from $106/month when purchased quarterly; full ordinary membership/prescription invoice and ongoing month-to-month total not established.

Tirzepatide

Branded Mounjaro/Zepbound from $25/month with insurance; complete cash tirzepatide prescription and ongoing month-to-month total not established.

Where it operates

Confirm clinical and pharmacy eligibility for the actual medication and state; the public program description does not establish every prescription in every location.

The current weight page advertises compounded semaglutide from $106 per month when purchased quarterly and selected branded prescriptions from $25 per month with insurance. It also advertises $96 off the weight program without establishing the complete normal recurring cash invoice. A public ordinary month-to-month total is not established for either semaglutide or tirzepatide. Request the exact membership, medication and fulfillment amounts together.

  • The $106 semaglutide figure is tied to a quarterly purchase. Obtain the full charge, prescribed quantity, delivery schedule and normal renewal before comparing it with a one-month plan elsewhere. The public headline does not establish a complete compounded tirzepatide cash offer, and an insured Mounjaro or Zepbound example is not a substitute for that missing quote.
  • The subscription policy says a Membership Fee covers access and support services but does not inherently include medication or pharmacy fulfillment. It names Semaglutide + Doctor and Tirzepatide + Doctor as programs that include those components. Confirm whether your actual selection is one of those bundles and whether its price includes the same period of membership and medicine.
  • FDA’s June 8, 2026 warning letter to FitRX, LLC dba AM RX identifies this service’s website and criticizes misleading compounder labeling and compounded-product claims implying FDA evaluation. Compounded medicines are not FDA-approved. Consider the letter’s historical findings alongside the current agreement and actual prescription, and confirm the dispensing pharmacy.
  • Recurring payments follow the chosen membership period and need not occur on the same calendar date each month. Promotional membership pricing changes to the applicable regular amount after the stated promotional periods. The policy describes advance notice for a changed amount. Ask for the actual ordinary rate and effective date rather than using the $96 discount as a continuing monthly price.
  • Manage Membership is the account route described for stopping renewal. A trial must be canceled before it ends to avoid becoming a paid membership. The policy has a specific correction provision when a trial was canceled at least thirty-six hours before its end but was inadvertently charged. That protection should not be read as a universal thirty-six-hour refund window for every ordinary purchase.
  • Consultation and membership charges are nonrefundable under the policy. Issued and filled prescription products cannot be returned for reuse or resale. Delivery-confirmed medication is also excluded from ordinary refunds, and a replacement order may carry a new charge. Confirm the pharmacy’s process for a lost, damaged or incorrect shipment and report the problem promptly rather than assuming membership cancellation reverses fulfillment.

What are AMRx's pros and cons?

Pros

  • Current dedicated online weight-care entry
  • Clinical group named in the subscription policy
  • Policy distinguishes membership-only and medication-inclusive programs

Cons

  • Low semaglutide headline requires a quarterly purchase
  • Full normal recurring cash cost remains unresolved
  • Membership and pharmacy refund limits require separate attention

The pharmacy behind the medicine

It does not name its pharmacy. AMRx does not publicly disclose which compounding pharmacy fills its prescriptions. That is common and it is not an accusation — but it does mean the one thing you would most want to verify about a compounded medicine is the one thing you cannot.

A compounded drug is mixed to order by a pharmacy rather than manufactured and released as a finished product, so the FDA has not reviewed the specific preparation you are prescribed for safety, effectiveness or quality. That is true of every compounded program, including the highest-scoring ones.

What else do people ask about AMRx?

Is the $106 semaglutide offer month to month?

The public page explicitly qualifies that monthly equivalent with a quarterly purchase. Request the total charged, supply, included membership and ordinary renewal. It does not establish a complete independently purchasable flexible cash month.

Does the $96 offer explain my normal cost?

No. It is an advertised discount, and the reviewed public offer does not establish the complete ordinary membership and prescription invoice after the promotion. Obtain both the initial amount and the normal renewal in writing before subscribing.

Are medicines included with membership?

Ordinary membership does not inherently include medication or pharmacy fulfillment. The policy names Semaglutide + Doctor and Tirzepatide + Doctor as exceptions. Confirm the exact program title, medicine, supply and included services on your actual purchase agreement.

Who evaluates an application?

The policy names Bruno Health and affiliated medical groups for clinical services. Confirm the assigned clinician and practice for your physical location. AMRx’s access and administrative role is different from the professional judgment required to prescribe.

How does cancellation work?

Use Manage Membership before renewal and keep confirmation. Trial conversion has its own end date and an error-correction provision for timely cancellation. Contact the clinical team or pharmacy separately about pending medication; ending membership does not automatically undo a prescription already filled.

What happens to a filled or delivered order?

The policy treats filled prescriptions as final and excludes ordinary refunds for delivery-confirmed medication. Consultation and membership payments are also nonrefundable. A replacement may require a new purchase, so report an order issue quickly and obtain the assigned pharmacy’s instructions.
