Price transparency
What is disclosed before intake, not a clinical rating.
MEDVi offers online weight-loss care through independent clinicians, with compounded GLP-1 treatment and separate brand-name options. Its package includes shipping and provider guidance, but the current public treatment page does not display usable dollar prices for compounded medication. The $99 membership listed for branded treatment excludes the drug itself.
MEDVi does not pay us. We review it so you can compare it with the programs that do. Disclosure
MEDVi does not show a price until after the medical intake. You cannot compare what it costs before giving it your health history, which is why it scores below every program here that publishes one, whatever the eventual number is.

The verdict
MEDVi doesn't show what it charges until you have completed its medical intake, so you can't compare it with other programs before sharing your health history. That places it 62 of 65 among the programs we review on price transparency. It says nothing about the medicine itself or whether the eventual price is high.
The score beside MEDVi's name rates how much it tells you before the medical intake — the price, the pharmacy and the terms — not how cheap it is.

How much does MEDVi cost?
Current public price not established; treatment page has unresolved price fields
Current public compounded price not established; brand-name treatment has separate membership and medication charges
Not published — confirm availability for your state and prescribed treatment
The public compounded-treatment page currently displays unresolved price fields rather than a usable dollar quote. It describes an introductory amount and locked refill price without showing those amounts. Branded Wegovy and Zepbound options list a $99 membership plus the separate medication cost.
- A $99 membership is not an all-in branded medication price.
- Ask for the introductory charge, recurring charge, supply duration and cancellation deadline in writing.
- Dietitian visits described as free carry insurance and copay eligibility conditions.
- Compounded medication is not FDA-approved.

What are MEDVi's pros and cons?
Pros
- The role of independent prescribing clinicians is disclosed

- A portal offers ongoing care management
Cons
- Compounded treatment prices are not usable on the current public page
- Brand-name medication is additional to membership
- Nutrition support carries insurance-related conditions
The pharmacy behind the medicine
It does not name its pharmacy. MEDVi does not publicly disclose which compounding pharmacy fills its prescriptions. That is common and it is not an accusation — but it does mean the one thing you would most want to verify about a compounded medicine is the one thing you cannot.
A compounded drug is mixed to order by a pharmacy rather than manufactured and released as a finished product, so the FDA has not reviewed the specific preparation you are prescribed for safety, effectiveness or quality. That is true of every compounded program, including the highest-scoring ones.
What is on the public record
FDA warning letter
FDA issued a warning letter to MEDVi, LLC dba MEDVi in February 2026. It is on the public record in FDA's warning-letter database.
We link the agency's own index rather than summarize what the letter says. It changes neither where this program sits in our ranking nor whether we are paid for a click to it, and you should know both of those at once.
What else do people ask about MEDVi?
Does $99 include Wegovy or Zepbound?
No. The public page labels that amount as membership plus medication cost.
What is the current compounded medication price?
The public page does not display a usable dollar amount. Request a quote and renewal terms before paying.
Who makes prescribing decisions?
An independent licensed clinician reviews your medical history and decides whether treatment is appropriate.
Are dietitian visits always free?
The offer is subject to insurance and copay eligibility, as stated in the page footnote.

How it compares
MEDVi ranks 62 of 65 on our price-transparency score. Every prescription GLP-1 program we review is scored on the same question: can you see the price before you hand over your health history? The full list is on the prescription GLP-1 review index.
MEDVi is reviewed here but is not ranked on our GLP-1 telehealth ranking, because that ranking can only order programs that show a price before the medical intake. The ranking lists the programs it leaves out, and why.

This page is informational and not medical advice: a GLP-1 is a prescription drug, and whether one suits you is a decision for a licensed clinician who knows your history.
