Price transparency
What is disclosed before intake, not a clinical rating.
Joi + Blokes combines online prescribing with health coaching and optional laboratory services. Its current compounded GLP-1 page offers semaglutide and tirzepatide with quarterly billing, so the monthly figures describe a longer payment arrangement. The service may appeal to people who want lifestyle support alongside treatment, but the financial commitment and final-sale rules deserve attention.

The verdict
Public prices describe specific visits, offers or commitments. They do not establish one unconditional ongoing monthly medication total.
The score beside Joi + Blokes's name rates how much it tells you before the medical intake — the price, the pharmacy and the terms — not how cheap it is.

What do you get with Joi + Blokes?
- An assessment reviewed by a US-licensed clinician from an independent medical practice. Joi + Blokes describes itself as the platform, with the clinician responsible for medical eligibility and prescribing decisions.
- Compounded injectable semaglutide or tirzepatide when medically appropriate. The page says concentration and additional ingredients can depend on individual needs, so ask for the exact preparation rather than assuming every patient receives the same formulation.
- Clinician access, dosing support and health coaching described within the compounded program. Optional labs are available; the current offer says they are not required, and lab purchases carry their own financial terms.
- A pharmacy network named in the terms, including Strive, Pharmacy Hub, Tailor Made, Cadre Labs, Empower, GiftHealth and Partell. This is a general service network, not a promise that each pharmacy supplies your selected medicine.
How does Joi + Blokes work?
Compare the compound with the brand route
Joi + Blokes has separate brand and compounded pathways. Identify the precise medicine and formulation you want to discuss, then ask the clinician why it is appropriate for your needs. A brand-name clinical trial does not automatically establish the effectiveness of a personalized compound. Keep a coaching service or supplement separate from the evidence for the prescription.
Check eligibility and the care relationship
Provide your medical history and current medicines in the clinical assessment. The platform describes independent clinician groups, and the terms require separate telehealth consent. Ask for the practice and professional who will be responsible for you, how treatment questions are handled and whether the selected preparation can be dispensed in your state.
Review quarterly payment before enrolling
The compounded offers show first-month reductions and later monthly equivalents, but say billed quarterly. Ask for the actual initial debit, the next quarter amount, supplied quantity and any separately ordered labs. No membership fee does not mean there is no recurring commitment. Keep the accepted order and cancellation instructions so the payment schedule is clear.
Use coaching and clinical follow-up deliberately
Ask how coaching appointments are scheduled and how medical questions reach the prescriber. Coaching can help you organize everyday habits, but it is not a substitute for a clinician addressing medication concerns. If a preparation, dose or pharmacy changes, confirm the new instructions and charges before another fulfillment. Discuss a medical transition separately from stopping billing.
How much does Joi + Blokes cost?
Compounded semaglutide advertised at $179/mo after $99 first month, billed quarterly; ongoing month-to-month total not established.
Compounded tirzepatide advertised at $249/mo after $149 first month, billed quarterly; ongoing month-to-month total not established.
Company advertises treatment-dependent access: US online care; confirm the selected medication and state during intake
The current compounded page advertises semaglutide at $179 per month after a $99 first month, and tirzepatide at $249 after a $149 first month, with quarterly billing. Medication, consultations, dosing support and coaching are described as included. The actual quarterly debit and cancellation consequences should be confirmed before payment; the ongoing month-to-month total not established qualification prevents treating those equivalents as unrestricted monthly purchases.
- The treatment page says no membership fee and cancel anytime. The refund page separately says prescription sales are final and cannot be returned. Obtain the next billing date and notice requirement rather than assuming cancellation returns unused portions of a quarter.
- The refund policy has a distinct insurance-backed GLP-1 section: cancellation may occur when a patient is unsuitable, but subscription fees already paid are not refunded. Do not apply that section to a compounded purchase without confirming the selected plan.
- Diagnostic lab purchases and lab subscriptions are final under the refund page. If you choose additional testing, clarify its purpose, price and how results will affect care before authorizing that separate purchase.

The pharmacy behind the medicine
It names its pharmacy. Joi + Blokes discloses Strive Pharmacy, Pharmacy Hub, Tailor Made Compounding Pharmacy, Cadre Labs LLC, Empower Pharmacy as its compounding partners. That matters more here than the price does: a compounded medicine is only as good as the pharmacy that made it, and a company willing to name one is a company you can go and check.
A compounded drug is mixed to order by a pharmacy rather than manufactured and released as a finished product, so the FDA has not reviewed the specific preparation you are prescribed for safety, effectiveness or quality. That is true of every compounded program, including the highest-scoring ones.
What is on the public record
FDA warning letter
FDA issued a warning letter to Joi and Blokes dba Joi + Blokes in June 2026. It is on the public record in FDA's warning-letter database.
The scoring method includes a deduction for a letter on record. This notice records the agency's letter and its date; funding is disclosed separately.
What else do people ask about Joi + Blokes?
Are the displayed prices billed one month at a time?
The current compounded page says billed quarterly. Its first-month reductions and later equivalents do not establish the exact amount of each transaction. Request the initial total, next renewal total and supplied period before comparing the offer with a service that permits an independent one-month purchase.
Are coaching and medication included?
The compounded offer lists medication, dosing support, clinician consultations and coaching. Ask how those services are accessed and what response or appointment arrangements apply. Optional laboratory services are separate purchases unless the selected order expressly includes them; seeing a lab catalog does not establish that testing is included.
Which pharmacy will fill my prescription?
The terms list several pharmacy partners, but your assigned dispenser depends on the prescription and location. Ask for the actual pharmacy name, full preparation and instructions before fulfillment. A general partner list does not show that every listed pharmacy makes every compound or supplies every patient.
Can I cancel and receive the rest of a quarter back?
Do not assume so. The offer says cancel anytime, while the refund page makes prescription sales final. Request the applicable notice period and treatment of an already paid quarter. Stopping a future renewal is different from returning a dispensed prescription or reversing clinical and pharmacy work already performed.
What should I check before buying lab services?
Ask the clinician which tests are appropriate, whether the selected treatment includes them and how results will be reviewed. The refund policy treats diagnostic lab purchases and lab subscriptions as final sales. Confirm whether you are authorizing a single test or a recurring laboratory purchase, and keep that decision separate from the medication subscription and its renewal schedule.
Does the program use one standard compounded formula?
The current page says concentration and additions such as B12, glycine or L-carnitine depend on individual needs. Request your actual ingredient list and the clinician’s reasoning. Do not assume an addition improves outcomes, or that the preparation has the same evidence and approval status as a commercially approved medicine.
