Price transparency
What is disclosed before intake, not a clinical rating.
Rixa Health combines scheduled online visits with compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide, home delivery and support between refills. Its prices depend on dose and supply length: injectable semaglutide begins at $195 for four weeks, and tirzepatide begins at $280 for four weeks. It is a pay-for-the-agreed-plan model rather than a clearly priced calendar-month subscription, and oral dissolving tablets are separate offers.

The verdict
Rixa Health shows its price before the medical intake and is clear about what that price covers and what conditions come with it. It ranks 39 of 293 among the programs we review on price transparency.
The score beside Rixa Health's name rates how much it tells you before the medical intake — the price, the pharmacy and the terms — not how cheap it is.

What do you get with Rixa Health?
- A medical-history intake and live online visit, followed by a treatment discussion and prescription only when the provider considers it suitable.
- Compounded injectable semaglutide or tirzepatide shipped from a preparing pharmacy, with medication, shipping and provider interactions between refills included in the advertised weight-loss price.
- Regular follow-up visits, which the FAQ says occur monthly during the first six months; continuing care is required to obtain refills.
- Semaglutide with B12 and tirzepatide oral dissolving tablets as separately priced options. Their dose, route and supply should be compared independently from injections.
- A named pharmacy list that includes Belmar Pharma Solutions, Red Rock Pharmacy and Seven Cells Pharmacy; the pharmacy assigned to your prescription still needs confirmation.
How does Rixa Health work?
Find a provider licensed for your state
Use the booking page’s state selector before scheduling. The list covers 45 states and Washington, DC, and the page says unlisted states lack available licensed providers. Appointment availability also varies by clinician, so being on the state list does not guarantee an immediate appointment or every treatment.
Complete intake before the appointment
Rixa sends a medical-history form after you book. Its FAQ says people whose intake disqualifies them are contacted before the visit and are not charged. Provide current medicines and treatment history, particularly if transferring from another program, so the provider can discuss an appropriate plan.
Approve the treatment and price
Discuss goals, formulation, supply and dose during the visit. Rixa says the card is held at booking and charged after the appointment when you approve the plan and price. Ask for any laboratory charges and the late-cancel or no-show fee before committing to the appointment.
Arrange follow-up and refills
The FAQ calls for monthly follow-up during the first six months and says a gap exceeding 90 days requires a new intake when restarting. Keep track of the actual weeks supplied, since some semaglutide levels describe five weeks rather than four and a refill may not align with a calendar month.
How much does Rixa Health cost?
Compounded injections $195–$310 per 4–5-week supply; oral tablets separate. Calendar-month subscription not published; ongoing month-to-month total not established.
Compounded injections $280–$525 per 4-week supply; oral tablets separate. Calendar-month subscription not published; ongoing month-to-month total not established.
45 states plus DC (not Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, North Dakota or South Dakota); confirm selected treatment availability
The injection menu lists semaglutide at $195 for four weeks, $225 for four weeks, $265 for five weeks, $290 for five weeks and $310 for four weeks across five dose levels. Tirzepatide is $280, $355, $430, $475, $495 or $525 for four weeks across six levels. Rixa says the quoted weight-loss price includes the provider visit, medication, shipping and between-refill interactions, with no contract or long-term commitment.
- The page’s introductory statement says prices cover four weeks, while two semaglutide levels explicitly say five weeks. Have the provider confirm the actual quantity and refill timing. A four-week charge is not the same as paying once in each calendar month.
- Oral semaglutide/B12 tablets are listed at $140, $180 or $225 per 30 days and $295, $395 or $575 per 90 days. Oral tirzepatide is $225, $245 or $270 per 30 days and $450, $515 or $595 per 90 days. These are separate formulations and supply commitments.
- The $25 first-visit promotion is an introductory discount, not a lower recurring medication rate. It excludes the asynchronous services named in the offer and should be applied only to an eligible appointment.
- Rixa says no recurring membership charge is taken merely for remaining a customer: patients pay for the agreed plan. Higher-dose refills can cost more, and a change in treatment may change the bill.
- The FAQ warns of a late-cancellation or no-show fee without publishing its amount in that answer. Obtain the deadline and fee before booking. No-contract language does not cancel an appointment penalty or guarantee a prescription refund.
- HSA/FSA cards are advertised as accepted, but a usable payment card does not establish that every service qualifies under your account rules. Ask your plan administrator about your particular treatment and retain an itemized receipt.

What are Rixa Health's pros and cons?
Pros
- The dose-level injection prices and supply lengths are visible before intake
- The FAQ explains when the card is charged and that the patient approves the plan
- Named pharmacy partners provide a starting point for dispensing questions
- No long-term contract is advertised for the weight-loss program
Cons
- Two semaglutide levels use a different supply period from the four-week heading
- Dose increases can raise the cost considerably
- The late-cancel and no-show amount needs a separate quote
- Some oral pricing descriptions differ between the treatment and pricing pages
The pharmacy behind the medicine
It names its pharmacy. Rixa Health discloses Belmar Pharma Solutions, Red Rock Pharmacy, Seven Cells Pharmacy as its compounding partners. That matters more here than the price does: a compounded medicine is only as good as the pharmacy that made it, and a company willing to name one is a company you can go and check.
A compounded drug is mixed to order by a pharmacy rather than manufactured and released as a finished product, so the FDA has not reviewed the specific preparation you are prescribed for safety, effectiveness or quality. That is true of every compounded program, including the highest-scoring ones.
What else do people ask about Rixa Health?
Is Rixa’s $195 semaglutide offer a monthly subscription?
It is the lowest listed injectable semaglutide level for four weeks, not a universal calendar-month subscription. Higher levels cost more, and two levels list five-week supplies. The FAQ says patients are charged for the plan they agree to rather than a standing membership fee. Confirm the actual refill price and timing.
What does the medication price include?
Rixa says its weight-loss price groups the provider visit and medication, including shipping and interactions between refills. It describes the medication cost as a pass-through from the preparing pharmacy. Ask separately about ordered laboratory testing, missed appointments and any services outside the selected weight-loss plan.
Does Rixa sell oral semaglutide or tirzepatide?
The pricing page lists semaglutide/B12 and tirzepatide oral dissolving tablets in 30-day and 90-day supplies. These are distinct from injections and should have their own prescription and instructions. The treatment page repeats one semaglutide tablet strength inconsistently, making a written formulation and price confirmation useful.
When is my card charged?
The FAQ says the card is held when you book and charged after the visit once you approve the treatment plan and price. If the intake identifies a disqualifying issue, Rixa says it contacts you before the visit without charging. Ask what happens when you attend but decide against a proposed medication.
Which pharmacies does Rixa name?
Its partner page lists Belmar Pharma Solutions in Arizona, Red Rock Pharmacy in Utah and Seven Cells Pharmacy in Florida. That identifies possible partners rather than your guaranteed dispenser. Ask which pharmacy will prepare your exact prescription, which formulation it uses and whom to contact about storage or shipment concerns.
Can I get treatment in every state?
The booking menu currently lists 45 states and Washington, DC. Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, North Dakota and South Dakota are absent. Rixa says it has no licensed providers for unlisted states and is expanding. Confirm that the clinician available for your state offers the particular weight-loss treatment you are considering.
