Rila review

Price transparency

What is disclosed before intake, not a clinical rating.

Rila offers online compounded GLP-1 care through DrTelx, with injection and dissolvable-tablet pathways. Its homepage advertises injections from $198 and tablets from $217 per monthly equivalent, each tied to a six-month commitment. The refund terms describe recurring monthly billing and a seventy-two-hour cancellation deadline, so obtain the full commitment and prescription agreement before treating a monthly charge as an independent monthly purchase.

The verdict

Rila shows its price before the medical intake, but leaves gaps, such as what the advertised price includes or which pharmacy fills the prescription. It ranks 189 of 358 on price transparency.

The score beside Rila's name rates how much it tells you before the medical intake — the price, the pharmacy and the terms — not how cheap it is.

What do you get with Rila?

  • An online consultation and independent licensed-provider review before a prescription is issued.
  • Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide discussed within injection and dissolvable-tablet pathways, with the actual preparation selected clinically.
  • A personalized treatment plan, pharmacy delivery, provider communication and ongoing dose support described by the program.
  • Clinical services through DrTelx, separate from BJE Equity LLC doing business as Rila, the platform operator.
  • Named pharmacy partners including EPIQ Scripts, Foothills Professional Pharmacy and Emerald Pharmacy, with the individual dispenser confirmed for each order.

How does Rila work?

  1. Compare the commitment rather than the headline

The advertised injection and tablet starting prices explicitly require six months. Ask what amount is collected initially, whether payments are monthly installments, what supply ships and what remains owed if treatment stops. A monthly equivalent does not establish a separately purchasable month or identify every medicine-specific quote.

  2. Complete the provider evaluation

The online assessment sends your health history for a licensed clinician’s review. The site identifies DrTelx as its independent medical network and says payment depends on treatment approval. Confirm the actual professional practice, assigned clinician, location eligibility and whether a live consultation is needed.

  3. Confirm the exact medicine and dispenser

The website groups several medicines and forms under broad treatment categories. Obtain the actual prescription, formulation, ingredients, concentration, quantity, intended supply and pharmacy before accepting treatment. The named pharmacy network does not guarantee which company will fill your particular order or every future refill.

  4. Record renewal and cancellation dates

The refund policy describes automatic monthly renewal and requires cancellation at least seventy-two hours before the next billing date. The six-month offer may add a longer obligation. Obtain the complete agreement covering both the billing cycle and the commitment rather than assuming cancellation of future renewal undoes a supply already dispensed.

How much does Rila cost?

Tirzepatide

Generic injection from $198 or tablet from $217 equivalent with 6-month commitment; tirzepatide ongoing month-to-month total not established.

Where it operates

Company advertises all 50 states and Washington, DC, with questionnaire care in 44 states and live visits required in seven other jurisdictions; confirm medication and pharmacy eligibility

Rila’s homepage lists compounded injections from $198 per monthly equivalent and tablets from $217, each with a six-month commitment. It does not establish a complete independent monthly quote for semaglutide or tirzepatide. The legal policy describes recurring monthly billing, but the actual commitment, supply and prescription-specific total still need confirmation before comparison with a provider offering a separately renewable monthly plan.

  • Ask whether clinical consultation, medication, supplies, dispensing, shipping, messaging and monitoring are included in the selected offer. The homepage describes a connected care model but does not itemize every charge for each prescription. Do not assign a general injection or tablet starting figure to both medicines as a settled ongoing price.
  • The company says initial medical rejection means no charge, or a full refund and release of any authorization if an amount was collected. That initial review rule differs from later medical disqualification and ordinary cancellation. Keep the approval and billing records so that the reason and timing of a refund request are clear.
  • For later medical disqualification, the policy limits refunds to the unprovided or undispensed portion of the most recent billing cycle following the clinician’s decision. Services already rendered, medication already dispensed and earlier billing cycles remain nonrefundable. This is not a general promise that all unused months of a longer commitment are refunded.
  • Cancellation must arrive at least seventy-two hours before the next billing date. A later request may not take effect until the following cycle, and the upcoming charge is not refunded. Obtain the next processing date and written cancellation confirmation, especially if the program combines monthly billing with a six-month commitment.
  • The policy generally rejects refunds once a cycle begins and does not accept prescription returns after dispensing or shipment. Damaged or incorrect deliveries must be reported within seven days; replacement, rather than a refund, is the stated remedy. Retain packaging and ask the pharmacy for instructions before using a product whose condition is uncertain.
  • The site advertises all fifty states and Washington, DC, with questionnaire-based care in forty-four states and live consultation requirements in seven other jurisdictions. The exact medicine and pharmacy can still vary by location. Confirm the visit format and fulfillment eligibility where you will physically be and where medication must be delivered.

Who is Rila best for?

A good fit if

  • Adults comfortable reviewing a six-month commitment before enrollment
  • People who want a named clinical network and pharmacy partners

Look elsewhere if

  • Shoppers needing a clearly independent one-month purchase
  • Anyone assuming a general category price quotes every medicine and form
  • Patients expecting unrestricted refunds for previous cycles or dispensed medication

What are Rila's pros and cons?

Pros

  • The public offer identifies its six-month commitment
  • DrTelx and pharmacy partners are named
  • Initial rejection and later disqualification have separate written rules
  • The policy gives a definite renewal cancellation deadline

Cons

  • Complete medicine-specific monthly totals are not established
  • Monthly billing and the longer commitment need reconciliation
  • Late cancellation can permit another nonrefundable cycle
  • Prescription delivery problems are generally handled by replacement

The pharmacy behind the medicine

It names its pharmacy. Rila discloses EPIQ Scripts, Foothills Professional Pharmacy, Emerald Pharmacy as its compounding partners. That matters more here than the price does: a compounded medicine is only as good as the pharmacy that made it, and a company willing to name one is a company you can go and check.

A compounded drug is mixed to order by a pharmacy rather than manufactured and released as a finished product, so the FDA has not reviewed the specific preparation you are prescribed for safety, effectiveness or quality. That is true of every compounded program, including the highest-scoring ones.

What else do people ask about Rila?

Can I buy injections for just $198 for one month?

The homepage ties the starting injection figure to a six-month commitment. Tablets start at a different monthly equivalent with the same commitment. Ask for the actual initial payment, remaining obligation, supply and renewal terms; the advertised equivalent does not establish a standalone month.

Are semaglutide and tirzepatide the same price?

The public categories mention both medicines but do not establish one complete prescription-specific recurring quote for every option. Obtain the actual medicine, form, supply, included services and normal future charge before comparing costs. A general injection or tablet headline is not a settled quote for each molecule.

Who provides medical care?

The site identifies DrTelx as the clinical network and BJE Equity LLC doing business as Rila as the platform. Independent clinicians decide whether prescribing is appropriate. Confirm the actual professional practice, clinician and location requirements before accepting care or assuming an online questionnaire alone completes the clinical evaluation.

Which pharmacy will fill my prescription?

Named partners include EPIQ Scripts, Foothills Professional Pharmacy and Emerald Pharmacy. Ask which dispenser is assigned to your actual order and obtain the ingredients, concentration, supply and instructions. A network list does not establish that every pharmacy fills every preparation in every location.

How early must I cancel?

The refund policy requires at least seventy-two hours before the next billing date. Later requests may take effect the following cycle and leave the upcoming charge nonrefundable. Ask how that rule interacts with the six-month commitment and retain written confirmation of the actual cancellation.

What if treatment is declined or a shipment is wrong?

Initial medical rejection means no charge or a full refund of any collected amount. Later medical disqualification has narrower current-cycle rules. Damaged or incorrect deliveries must be reported within seven days and are handled by replacement. Those exceptions do not create ordinary refunds for previous cycles or dispensed prescriptions.
