VivioMD review

Price transparency

What is disclosed before intake, not a clinical rating.

VivioMD connects patients with an independent clinical group for online weight-management care, including compounded injections and an oral GLP-1 option. Its advertised starting prices are easy to find; the more important details are dose-specific renewal cost, the selected subscription term and cancellation notice. The terms also exclude Louisiana despite broader all-state marketing. Compare the actual prescription and agreement before choosing on a starting figure.

The verdict

Public offers are available, but a directly comparable ongoing month-to-month total is not established for both molecules. Read the plan and billing qualifications below.

The score beside VivioMD's name rates how much it tells you before the medical intake — the price, the pharmacy and the terms — not how cheap it is.

What do you get with VivioMD?

  • Online evaluation through OpenLoop Healthcare Partners and affiliated clinical entities, which make prescribing decisions independently of the platform.
  • Advertised compounded GLP-1 injections and tablets, plus a GLP-1/GIP injection option. Confirm the actual molecule, ingredients and route before purchase.
  • A live provider consultation described as included, with medication delivery and support as part of the selected treatment program.
  • Published starting offers of $299 per month for GLP-1 tablets or injections and $398 for the dual-class injection. These are product offers rather than universal renewal quotes.
  • A named pharmacy network: Red Rock and Triad Rx are identified as compounders, while HealthWarehouse is separately identified as a retail pharmacy.
  • Care in 49 states under the terms, excluding Louisiana. Product eligibility still depends on the clinician, location and pharmacy.

How does VivioMD work?

  1. Choose the exact drug and route

A tablet and an injection are different prescriptions. Before comparing prices, request the molecule name, formulation, ingredients, prescribed amount and instructions. Do not assume that a generic GLP-1 heading or a photo describes the same preparation as another provider’s offer. If you prefer a branded product, confirm that its separate product and price actually apply.

  2. Complete the independent assessment

Provide your history and current prescriptions and discuss what follow-up is available. A consultation included in the program does not guarantee approval. Ask how to reach the clinical team for treatment questions and distinguish that route from general support for payments, account access or deliveries. Broad support availability does not itself establish an immediate doctor appointment.

  3. Read the term attached to the price

The terms allow monthly, quarterly and annual subscription periods paid in advance. A promotional rate can require a minimum commitment, and leaving early can reprice completed months at the full rate. Compare both the amount due now and the amount you could owe if the plan ends sooner than expected.

  4. Cancel before the notice window

The refund policy requires at least seventy-two hours before the next billing date. Otherwise another cycle can be charged before cancellation takes effect. Use the account or support route, keep confirmation and check whether a prescription has already been transmitted. Stopping renewal and recovering money for an existing cycle are separate questions.

How much does VivioMD cost?

Semaglutide

GLP-1 injection/tablet offers from $299/mo; exact semaglutide formulation, dose and ongoing month-to-month total not established.

Tirzepatide

GLP-1/GIP injection offer from $398/mo; exact tirzepatide formulation, dose and ongoing month-to-month total not established.

Where it operates

All 50 states except Louisiana; treatment-specific eligibility applies

VivioMD advertises GLP-1 tablets and injections from $299 monthly and a GLP-1/GIP injection from $398 monthly. An Ozempic offer is listed separately. These starting figures do not establish the complete ongoing total at every dose or subscription term. Obtain the exact molecule-specific quote, included services and renewal amount before treating either injection headline as a month-to-month budget.

  • Subscriptions are paid in advance for the chosen term and automatically renew for the same term at the then-current rate unless canceled. A longer prepaid period creates a larger commitment than its monthly equivalent suggests.
  • Promotional discounts linked to a minimum term can be forfeited on early cancellation, with used months recalculated at the undiscounted rate. Ask for that calculation before enrolling in a discounted longer plan.
  • The policy provides a refund within the first seventy-two hours only when no subscription services have been received. It also describes refunds after clinical disqualification; ask how any separately rendered medical services are treated.
  • Monthly subscription charges are not refunded for the current or previous months. For multi-month billing, the policy describes refunds for months for which medication has not shipped, subject to the remaining terms.
  • Louisiana is excluded by the terms despite the homepage’s broader coverage language. Confirm location eligibility before paying and request the actual dispensing pharmacy instead of assuming any listed partner is available for every order.

Who is VivioMD best for?

A good fit if

  • Patients who want a live consultation within an online program
  • Shoppers willing to obtain a precise formulation and renewal quote
  • People who value a public list distinguishing retail and compounding pharmacies

Look elsewhere if

  • Louisiana residents relying on all-state marketing
  • Anyone assuming all GLP-1 tablet and injection offers are interchangeable
  • People expecting a monthly subscription refund simply because they stop treatment

What are VivioMD's pros and cons?

Pros

  • Names the independent clinical organization and pharmacy partners
  • Publishes specific cancellation notice and early-refund conditions
  • Offers several prescription routes for clinician discussion

Cons

  • Starting figures do not establish every renewal total
  • Early exit can remove a commitment discount
  • The terms have a narrower geographic scope than the homepage

The pharmacy behind the medicine

It names its pharmacy. VivioMD discloses Red Rock Pharmacy, Triad Rx as its compounding partners. That matters more here than the price does: a compounded medicine is only as good as the pharmacy that made it, and a company willing to name one is a company you can go and check.

A compounded drug is mixed to order by a pharmacy rather than manufactured and released as a finished product, so the FDA has not reviewed the specific preparation you are prescribed for safety, effectiveness or quality. That is true of every compounded program, including the highest-scoring ones.

What else do people ask about VivioMD?

What does the $299 price cover?

VivioMD lists that starting monthly figure for both its GLP-1 tablet and injection offers. It does not mean the preparations are identical or that every dose has the same final charge. Ask for the exact prescription, term, consultation inclusions and renewal price for the option the clinician recommends.

Is the $398 injection definitely a particular molecule?

The homepage labels it GLP-1/GIP. Confirm the molecule and preparation with the clinician rather than inferring a prescription from a class heading. A useful comparison needs the drug name, route, amount supplied and billing term, not only a product-category price.

Which pharmacies are named?

The terms identify Red Rock and Triad Rx as compounding partners and HealthWarehouse as a retail partner. These roles should remain distinct. Request the assignment for your own prescription before fulfillment and check the label when it arrives rather than assuming every listed partner supplies every treatment.

Can I cancel right before renewal?

The policy requires at least seventy-two hours of notice before the next billing date. A later request can take effect after another billing cycle. Keep a record of the request and confirmation, and ask separately whether a prescription order for the current cycle has already been placed.

Are longer plans refundable?

The policy describes refunds for prepaid months when medicine has not shipped, while monthly periods are generally nonrefundable. A minimum-term discount may also be removed and completed months repriced. Obtain the actual calculation for your plan; canceling does not automatically mean all unused calendar time is refunded.

Is VivioMD available in all states?

Its terms state 49 states and exclude Louisiana. That is the more cautious basis for an enrollment decision despite broader homepage language. The particular medication, clinical eligibility and dispensing arrangement also need confirmation, so a general geographic claim is not a guarantee of access to every product.
