Tuyo Health review

Price transparency

What is disclosed before intake, not a clinical rating.

Tuyo Health offers online compounded GLP-1 care with provider visits, pharmacy delivery and ongoing support, without a separate membership fee advertised. Semaglutide is displayed at $155 per month beside a $179 reference price, and tirzepatide at $235 beside $329. Those figures still need a dose-and-renewal quote: the FAQ permits higher-dose additional costs, and the subscription terms require action before an order renews.

The verdict

Tuyo Health shows a price before the medical intake, but the advertised figure comes with conditions the headline leaves out, or its own terms don't fully back it up. It ranks 191 of 293 on price transparency.

The score beside Tuyo Health's name rates how much it tells you before the medical intake — the price, the pharmacy and the terms — not how cheap it is.

What do you get with Tuyo Health?

  • Online assessment and provider evaluation, with video or asynchronous review depending on state and clinical circumstances
  • Compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide prescribed according to individual needs
  • Provider visits, shipping and continuing messaging described within the treatment offering
  • Quarterly laboratory testing, habit-tracking tools and weekly support groups advertised on the medication pages
  • A cash-pay compounded route, with branded medication options presented separately

How does Tuyo Health work?

  1. Confirm state and assessment requirements

Tuyo’s FAQ describes service for adults aged eighteen to seventy-five in supported states. Depending on state and clinical circumstances, it says a video visit or an asynchronous submission with health information and photographs may be used. Ask which route applies to you and what records or tests the provider needs before deciding whether treatment is appropriate.

  2. Discuss prior treatment and the actual dose

Provide accurate information about any previous GLP-1 medication, last dose and timing. Tuyo says the provider can review an existing prescription and match or adjust treatment when appropriate. That is a clinical decision rather than a promise to continue a particular dose. Confirm the exact ingredient, formulation and instructions for your next prescription.

  3. Read the complete quote

The drug pages pair lower advertised monthly figures with higher reference prices. Ask whether the displayed offer has any term, introductory or renewal conditions and whether your dose costs more. The FAQ says medication is included unless otherwise specified during consultation, but it also allows an extra charge for a higher dose. Resolve that before authorizing payment.

  4. Manage recurring orders and delivery

The subscription agreement allows early processing to protect continuity, including some charges or shipments up to two days early. Keep the actual processing date in mind if stopping treatment. Follow the dispensing pharmacy’s label and storage instructions, and contact the provider for clinical questions. A subscription pause or account cancellation does not undo medication already dispensed.

How much does Tuyo Health cost?

Semaglutide

Compounded semaglutide displayed $155/mo versus $179 reference; higher-dose costs possible; ongoing month-to-month total not established.

Tirzepatide

Compounded tirzepatide displayed $235/mo versus $329 reference; higher-dose costs possible; ongoing month-to-month total not established.

Where it operates

Company advertises care for adults 18–75 in supported states; consultation requirements vary by location.

The current compounded semaglutide page shows $155 per month with a $179 reference, while tirzepatide shows $235 with a $329 reference. Visits and free shipping are advertised, with no separate membership fee. The FAQ says higher prescribed doses can require an additional cost disclosed in the portal. A complete ongoing month-to-month total at the actual dose and renewal terms is therefore not established by the lowest displayed figures alone.

  • The medication pages advertise quarterly lab testing, provider support, weekly groups and tracking tools. Ask which tests, collection arrangements and follow-up services the selected prescription price includes before assuming any outside test requested by a clinician is covered.
  • The subscription terms require cancellation at least two days before the renewal processing date. They permit an early first renewal and some subsequent charges or shipments up to two days early. Use the processing date, not only the expected delivery date, to plan cancellation.
  • Cancel through the account, customer help center or the published phone route. The legal terms say cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription period, with no partial-period refund except discretionary exceptions. The FAQ’s simpler immediate-cancellation wording needs reconciliation for your actual pending order.
  • Once a prescription is dispensed by a partner pharmacy, the terms exclude medication returns and refunds. Ask how a dispensing error, damaged shipment or clinical discontinuation is handled before prepaying or authorizing a larger supply.
  • The FAQ lists several partner pharmacies, including Strive, Empower, Belmar and Revive Rx, but that does not identify the dispenser for every prescription. Confirm the actual pharmacy and contact details for your treatment and location.
  • The legal agreement, dated September 16, 2024, identifies Tuyo Health, Inc. and affiliated medical practices. It limits certain platform liability to actual damages up to $1,000, subject to applicable law. Ask for any updated purchase-specific terms presented at enrollment.

Who is Tuyo Health best for?

A good fit if

  • Cash-pay patients wanting ongoing provider contact and an advertised laboratory-support component
  • People transferring prior treatment who will provide complete prescription information
  • Shoppers comfortable checking dose-specific charges and advance renewal processing

Look elsewhere if

  • Anyone assuming the lowest displayed drug figure covers every dose indefinitely
  • Patients expecting immediate cancellation to reverse a medication order already dispensed
  • People unwilling to reconcile the FAQ’s simple cancellation wording with the legal renewal rules

What are Tuyo Health's pros and cons?

Pros

  • Medication pages identify major care, shipping and support inclusions
  • The FAQ acknowledges dose-related additional costs rather than guaranteeing one price for everyone
  • Both video and asynchronous assessment routes are described with state qualifications

Cons

  • Reference-price and renewal conditions are not fully established by the headline
  • Some dose increases can create additional charges
  • Early processing and differing cancellation wording require careful timing

The pharmacy behind the medicine

It names its pharmacy. Tuyo Health discloses Strive Pharmacy, Empower Pharmacy, Belmar Pharma Solutions, Revive Rx as its compounding partners. That matters more here than the price does: a compounded medicine is only as good as the pharmacy that made it, and a company willing to name one is a company you can go and check.

A compounded drug is mixed to order by a pharmacy rather than manufactured and released as a finished product, so the FDA has not reviewed the specific preparation you are prescribed for safety, effectiveness or quality. That is true of every compounded program, including the highest-scoring ones.

What is on the public record

FDA warning letter

FDA issued a warning letter to Tuyo Health, Inc. dba Tuyo Health in September 2025. It is on the public record in FDA's warning-letter database.

The scoring method includes a deduction for a letter on record. This notice records the agency's letter and its date; funding is disclosed separately.

What else do people ask about Tuyo Health?

Does no membership fee mean medication is free?

No. It means no separate membership fee is advertised alongside the treatment price. The current compounded medication pages display their own monthly figures. Check the complete prescription charge and any dose adjustment, laboratory or other service cost before deciding what the program will cost.

Will the price increase with my dose?

The FAQ says a higher prescribed dose may require an additional cost and that it will be stated in the portal. Ask for the exact quote at your intended dose and how later increases are handled. The lowest displayed figure is not a guarantee across every dose.

How early should I cancel?

The terms require at least two days before the subscription’s renewal processing date, and some processing can occur early. Ask which date applies to your pending order, cancel through an accepted account or support route and keep confirmation.

Does cancellation take effect immediately?

The FAQ describes immediate cancellation, while the legal agreement says it takes effect at the end of the current subscription period and excludes partial-period refunds. Clarify what happens to an already pending charge or pharmacy order rather than relying on the shorter FAQ alone.

Can I continue a dose from another provider?

Tuyo says the clinician can review existing semaglutide or tirzepatide treatment and match or adjust it when appropriate. Supply accurate dose and timing information. Continuing the same dose is not guaranteed and should be confirmed with the new prescribing provider.

Which pharmacy will fill my prescription?

The FAQ lists several partner pharmacies, but the actual assignment depends on the prescription and service arrangement. Ask which pharmacy will dispense your medication and use its handling instructions and contact details. A general partner list is not a promise of one dispenser for all patients.
