Independent Wellness review

Price transparency

What is disclosed before intake, not a clinical rating.

Independent Wellness presents a small online weight-care program centered on Bonnie Lea Davis, with medication delivery, provider visits and Quest laboratory work described within the plans. It serves a listed group of twenty states. The main comparison problem is conflicting prices: its pricing page shows lower initial and renewal figures than the current enrollment page. Obtain the accepted quote and actual supply before treating either page as the complete continuing bill.

The verdict

Public offers are available, but a directly comparable ongoing month-to-month total is not established. Read the billing and treatment qualifications below.

The score beside Independent Wellness's name rates how much it tells you before the medical intake — the price, the pharmacy and the terms — not how cheap it is.

What do you get with Independent Wellness?

  • An online eligibility assessment and consultation for compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide. The program names Bonnie Lea Davis as its nurse-practitioner contact and describes continued care rather than a guaranteed prescription after completing a questionnaire.
  • Unlimited provider visits, baseline and follow-up laboratory work through Quest Diagnostics, and lifestyle guidance described within the program. Confirm the actual tests and follow-up schedule proposed for you; an included-labs description does not determine clinical suitability or the contents of every future requisition.
  • Standard injection plans, separately priced lower-dose programs and oral sublingual drops. The latter have seven-week supply prices rather than the same payment interval as the injection offer. Discuss the preparation individually instead of assuming different routes have equivalent instructions or evidence.
  • Published pharmacy relationships with DCA Pharmacy, Link Pharmacy and Boudreaux’s New Drug Store. The pharmacy page lists different dispensing-state coverage for each. Obtain the actual assigned pharmacy for your prescription; the presence of a partner does not mean it supplies every formulation everywhere.

How does Independent Wellness work?

  1. Check the actual state list

The public eligibility form lists twenty states and asks whether you live in one of them before appointment booking. Confirm your physical location for the consultation and intended shipping address. A move or travel plan can affect both clinical and pharmacy access.

  2. Describe the treatment you are comparing

Tell the provider whether you are considering standard injections, a lower-dose program or oral drops, along with previous prescriptions, medical history and current medicines. The provider determines suitability and the actual prescription. A low category price should not decide the regimen.

  3. Resolve the two public price schedules

Request the specific initial and continuing charge attached to your proposed plan. The pricing page and enrollment page display different injection amounts, and the program says medication ships every four weeks. Ask which agreement controls before authorizing payment.

  4. Confirm monitoring and future orders

Keep the testing schedule, provider contact and next shipment date together. Ask how refills are approved, when a charge occurs and how to pause or stop future supply. The reviewed pages do not establish a complete cancellation deadline or clinical refund schedule.

How much does Independent Wellness cost?

Semaglutide

Pricing page $99 first month then $199; current enrollment page injection $249 per month with four-week shipping; conflicting complete ongoing month-to-month total not established.

Tirzepatide

Pricing page $199 first month then $299; current enrollment page injection $379 per month with four-week shipping; conflicting complete ongoing month-to-month total not established.

Where it operates

Available only in AZ, CO, CT, FL, ID, IA, KS, MD, MA, MI, NE, NH, NM, NY, OR, UT, VT, WA, WI and WY according to the company eligibility form; confirm actual clinical and pharmacy access for the selected preparation

The pricing page advertises semaglutide at $99 for the first month then $199, and tirzepatide at $199 then $299. The current enrollment page instead lists standard injection plans at $249 and $379 per month. It also lists lower-dose programs at $179 and $249, and oral drops at $349 or $599 for seven weeks. These differences prevent one unambiguous ongoing month-to-month comparison.

  • The offer describes medication, unlimited provider visits and Quest laboratory work within the selected flat fee, without a separate membership. Obtain the accepted inclusion list and clarify whether an additional test, outside visit or different preparation would create another expense.
  • The enrollment FAQ says medication is shipped every four weeks. A supply cycle and calendar-month payment are not necessarily identical. Ask for the actual billing and shipment dates and compare equal treatment durations rather than multiplying a monthly label by twelve.
  • The pricing page presents an agreed-price lock, but the conflicting enrollment amounts still need resolution. Ask whether a promotion applies only to new patients, whether it changes the first shipment or renewal, and what happens if the prescription or preparation changes.
  • A complete advance cancellation deadline, medical-nonapproval refund and unused-supply refund arrangement are not established in the reviewed program pages. Obtain those policies before payment, including the point when a pharmacy order becomes noncancelable. Stopping future treatment and refunding an existing order are separate questions.

What are Independent Wellness's pros and cons?

Pros

  • Names the program’s practitioner
  • Publishes the enrollment state list and pharmacy relationships
  • Describes included provider visits and Quest labs

Cons

  • Pricing and enrollment pages conflict
  • Four-week shipping needs careful budget comparison
  • Detailed commercial cancellation and refund terms require clarification

The pharmacy behind the medicine

It names its pharmacy. Independent Wellness discloses DCA Pharmacy, LT Pharmacy Buyer LLC dba Link Pharmacy, Vidrine Pharmaceutical Group / Boudreaux’s New Drug Store as its compounding partners. That matters more here than the price does: a compounded medicine is only as good as the pharmacy that made it, and a company willing to name one is a company you can go and check.

A compounded drug is mixed to order by a pharmacy rather than manufactured and released as a finished product, so the FDA has not reviewed the specific preparation you are prescribed for safety, effectiveness or quality. That is true of every compounded program, including the highest-scoring ones.

What else do people ask about Independent Wellness?

Which injection price should I use?

Ask the program to identify the accepted offer in writing. The pricing page shows semaglutide at $99 initially then $199, and tirzepatide at $199 then $299; the enrollment page lists $249 and $379 standard injection plans. A comparison should preserve that difference until your quote resolves it.

Are laboratories and visits included?

The program describes unlimited provider visits and baseline and follow-up Quest Diagnostics labs within its flat fee. Confirm the actual tests, visit schedule and exceptions for your plan. Do not assume every outside laboratory or unrelated clinical service belongs to the bundle.

Can new patients start online?

The official form offers eligibility questions and appointment booking for patients in twenty listed states. The consultation and follow-ups are described as telehealth. The provider still determines whether treatment is appropriate, and the assigned pharmacy must be authorized to dispense to the actual shipping location.

Which pharmacy fills the prescription?

The pharmacy page names DCA, Link Pharmacy and Boudreaux’s New Drug Store, with different state-coverage descriptions. Ask which one is actually assigned to your preparation and address. A public partner list is not a universal dispensing arrangement or a promise that every product is available.

Are oral drops priced like injections?

No. The enrollment page lists semaglutide drops at $349 and tirzepatide drops at $599 for seven weeks. Standard injections and lower-dose programs have separate displayed amounts. Confirm the prescribed preparation, supplied quantity and payment interval instead of transferring the lowest price between formats.

How do cancellation and refunds work?

The reviewed program pages do not establish a complete commercial cancellation cutoff or refund schedule. Obtain the actual policy before paying, including medical nonapproval, services already provided and pharmacy processing. Keep written confirmation of any pause or cancellation and distinguish stopping future orders from reversing a purchase.
