Price transparency

What is disclosed before intake, not a clinical rating.

Measured combines online weight-management prescribing with provider messaging and nutrition support. Its advertised $49 branded-medication care plan excludes the drug, while compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide start at separate medication-included prices. It is a useful option to compare if you want clinical and dietary support together, but the actual payment term, dietitian insurance charges and conditional refund guarantee deserve attention before enrollment.

The verdict

Measured shows a price before the medical intake, but the advertised figure comes with conditions the headline leaves out, or its own terms don't fully back it up. It ranks 258 of 293 on price transparency.

The score beside Measured's name rates how much it tells you before the medical intake — the price, the pharmacy and the terms — not how cheap it is.

What do you get with Measured?

  • An online assessment reviewed by an independent licensed provider, with medication prescribed only when appropriate
  • Branded GLP-1 care with medication paid separately, alongside distinct compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide programs
  • Unlimited care-team messaging, educational resources and meal guides
  • Access to registered dietitians, with insurance billing and possible patient cost-sharing under the legal terms
  • Prescription fulfillment through independent pharmacies and free two-day shipping advertised for eligible prescriptions

How does Measured work?

  1. Choose the treatment category

Measured’s menu separates branded medication, compounded treatment and a lower-dose program. Decide which category you are actually comparing before using the headline price. The branded care charge does not buy Wegovy or Zepbound. A microdose offer is also a different prescribing approach from the standard compounded program, rather than a cheaper interchangeable version of the same treatment.

  2. Complete the assessment and coverage questions

The company asks about health history, goals and lifestyle and may request labs. Your provider decides whether treatment is appropriate. If you plan to use a branded medication benefit, check the covered drug, indication, prior authorization and preferred pharmacy first. Enrollment does not guarantee either a prescription or successful insurance authorization.

  3. Confirm the care team and charges

Ask which medical practice will treat you and whether the quoted package includes the dietitian services you expect. The terms say registered-dietitian encounters are billed to insurance through Bridge and may involve copays, coinsurance or deductibles. Access to an appointment and payment for that appointment are therefore separate questions worth settling before booking.

  4. Select a term and arrange follow-up

The legal terms allow monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annual subscriptions. Check the full payment now, next renewal date and future rate before accepting a monthly equivalent. Keep follow-up and weight records for your clinical care, and read the guarantee requirements before relying on them. The provider should guide medication changes, while account support handles billing and cancellation.

How much does Measured cost?

Semaglutide

Compounded from $119/mo, $199 reference; branded care from $49/mo with drug extra; ongoing month-to-month total not established.

Tirzepatide

Compounded from $219/mo, $299 reference; branded care from $49/mo with drug extra; ongoing month-to-month total not established.

Where it operates

Company advertises treatment-dependent access; confirm clinician, formulation and pharmacy availability for your state before paying.

Measured advertises compounded semaglutide from $119 per month and compounded tirzepatide from $219, with medication included. Their product pages also show $199 and $299 reference figures. Branded GLP-1 care starts at $49 per month with medication separate; a distinct microdose offer starts at $79. The public starting offers do not establish the complete ongoing month-to-month purchase term for every patient, so obtain a term-specific quote.

  • The lowest starting figure should not automatically be read as a standard monthly subscription. The terms permit several payment periods and say promotions convert to the then-current standard rate unless canceled before the promotional period ends. Confirm what your chosen offer renews into.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected cycle. Cancel through the patient portal or care team before renewal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, with no partial refund for unused time. Price changes require thirty days’ written notice under the terms.
  • Ordinary fees become nonrefundable once a clinician has reviewed the medical intake or medication has shipped, except as otherwise stated or required by law. Shipping and handling are nonrefundable after dispatch. Ask what is charged before the clinical decision.
  • The six-month guarantee requires, among other conditions, starting BMI of at least 30, 180 consecutive membership days, timely intake and baseline labs, medication adherence and at least 21 weight logs in the first 26 weeks. It addresses less than 5% weight loss, with requests made between days 181 and 210.
  • Dietitian encounters may produce insurance cost-sharing in addition to the advertised program price. Ask for the actual in-network status and visit estimate. Lab charges and branded medication spending also need specific confirmation rather than being inferred from the care headline.
  • The terms identify Better Health Labs, Inc. and limit certain platform liability to the greater of $500 or amounts paid during the relevant twelve-month period, subject to applicable law. The company’s platform role is separate from the independent prescriber and pharmacy.

What are Measured's pros and cons?

Pros

  • The menu distinguishes medication-included compounded programs from branded care fees
  • Messaging, meal resources and dietitian access broaden the service beyond prescription fulfillment
  • The legal terms publish meaningful renewal and guarantee details

Cons

  • Starting prices do not settle the payment term and continuing rate
  • Dietitian access can involve additional insurance cost-sharing
  • Ordinary refund rights narrow once a clinician reviews the intake

The pharmacy behind the medicine

It does not name its pharmacy. Measured does not publicly disclose which compounding pharmacy fills its prescriptions. That is common and it is not an accusation — but it does mean the one thing you would most want to verify about a compounded medicine is the one thing you cannot.

A compounded drug is mixed to order by a pharmacy rather than manufactured and released as a finished product, so the FDA has not reviewed the specific preparation you are prescribed for safety, effectiveness or quality. That is true of every compounded program, including the highest-scoring ones.

What is on the public record

FDA warning letter

FDA issued a warning letter to Better Health Labs, Inc. dba Measured in February 2026. It is on the public record in FDA's warning-letter database.

The scoring method includes a deduction for a letter on record. This notice records the agency's letter and its date; funding is disclosed separately.

What else do people ask about Measured?

Is medication included in the $49 plan?

No. The branded-medication menu marks the $49 care price as excluding medication. Branded prescriptions are paid through insurance or directly to the pharmacy. Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide have separate medication-included starting offers, so keep those program categories distinct.

Are $119 and $219 standard ongoing monthly totals?

They are published compounded starting offers, alongside higher reference prices. The terms allow several subscription lengths and promotional conversions. Ask for the total due now, exact supply, billing period and rate after the offer before treating either figure as your continuing monthly budget.

Does nutrition support mean every dietitian visit is free?

No. The terms say dietitian encounters are billed to the health plan through Bridge and patients owe applicable copays, deductibles or coinsurance. Confirm the provider’s network status and expected visit charge separately from the membership before scheduling.

How can I cancel?

Use the patient portal or contact the care team before the renewal date. The legal terms say cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and unused time is not partially refunded. Keep confirmation, particularly if you selected a longer prepaid cycle.

What does the six-month guarantee require?

It applies to qualifying members with less than 5% weight loss and includes minimum BMI, continuous membership, timely intake and labs, medication adherence and weight logging. Requests must be made between days 181 and 210. It is not an unconditional promise of a particular outcome.

Can I obtain treatment in every state?

Confirm your actual location and available provider before enrollment. Measured uses independent medical practices and dispensing pharmacies, and prescription availability remains subject to clinical evaluation and applicable requirements. A medication appearing on the menu does not establish universal access to that exact formulation.
