Price transparency
What is disclosed before intake, not a clinical rating.
Vaylen offers online compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide care with separately listed monthly and prepaid annual choices. The current injection cards show $129 per month for semaglutide and $179 for tirzepatide, while lower $83 and $124 equivalents require a full year paid upfront. Its public pages disagree about the clinical partner, state coverage and whether payment precedes approval, so those details need written clarification before choosing a plan.

The verdict
Vaylen shows its price before the medical intake and is clear about what that price covers and what conditions come with it. It ranks 64 of 358 among the programs we review on price transparency.
The score beside Vaylen's name rates how much it tells you before the medical intake — the price, the pharmacy and the terms — not how cheap it is.

- Monthly subscriptions or longer prepaid arrangements with different cancellation and refund consequences.
How does Vaylen work?
Choose the medicine and payment schedule
The public pricing selector distinguishes injection and tablet preparations, as well as monthly and annual arrangements. Compare the amount charged now rather than only the displayed equivalent. The annual injection offers are $996 for semaglutide and $1,488 for tirzepatide; the separate monthly choices are $129 and $179 respectively. Do not assume a tablet uses the injection price.
Clarify who provides care and when payment occurs
The current program footer names MDI Medical Group, P.C., arranged through MD Integrations. Its linked terms instead name OpenLoop Health. The main page promises no charge until approval, while the terms and consent discuss payment followed by a full refund if prescribing is declined. Ask which medical practice and payment process actually apply to your enrollment.
Complete an individual clinical evaluation
The assessment gathers medical information for clinician review. The consent explains that care may begin through asynchronous communication where permitted, with additional state-specific steps when necessary. The clinician may request more information, laboratory work or a different treatment. An offer of free assessment and a selected plan do not guarantee that a particular prescription is appropriate.
Confirm delivery, follow-up and renewal
Approved medicine is described as shipping within one to three business days, with ongoing check-ins and messaging. Confirm the actual pharmacy, supply schedule, next renewal and what happens if treatment changes before purchasing a long prepaid term.
How much does Vaylen cost?
$129/month compounded semaglutide injection option; $996 upfront annual offer ($83/month equivalent) separate.
$179/month compounded tirzepatide injection option; $1,488 upfront annual offer ($124/month equivalent) separate.
Company advertises all 50 states on its current landing page, while terms say 49 without naming an exclusion. Confirm clinical and pharmacy eligibility.
The current public injection cards separately list semaglutide at $129 per month or $996 upfront for twelve months, equivalent to $83 per month. Tirzepatide is $179 per month or $1,488 upfront for twelve months, equivalent to $124 per month. The company says its program includes medication, clinical review, monthly check-ins, shipping and messaging, with no dose-related increase. Monthly flexibility costs more than the annual equivalent.
- The annual figures are not monthly installments. The full $996 or $1,488 is due as a single annual payment under the selected offer. The refund policy says prepaid three-, six- and twelve-month programs are not refundable after approval and the program has begun. canceling treatment or future renewal does not establish a right to recover the unused portion of that purchase.
- The monthly policy describes automatic monthly renewal without a minimum number of months or cancellation fee. Cancel through the patient portal before the next billing date to stop the next charge. Charges already incurred for a delivered month are not refunded. Obtain the actual processing date and confirmation; stopping future billing and reversing an already delivered supply are separate matters.
- The landing page says a card is saved but not charged unless a clinician approves the prescription. The linked terms, refund policy and consent instead describe payment and automatic full refund after clinical refusal, usually appearing within five to ten business days. Ask whether the process is an authorization, a charge or a later capture before providing payment information.
- The current landing footer says patients are served in all fifty states with product restrictions. Its terms say forty-nine states without naming the excluded state. Confirm the specific clinician, preparation and pharmacy eligibility for your actual location rather than treating either broad statement as a definitive all-state product guarantee.
- The program says compounded medicines are not FDA-approved finished products, and the prescribing clinician may choose an approved product instead where appropriate. Confirm the cost if a different medicine is recommended; the listed compounded injection price does not automatically establish the cost of a branded alternative or a tablet formulation.
- The refund policy describes free replacement for a shipment confirmed lost or damaged in transit, rather than a general refund for shipped prescription medicine. It also says approved refunds involving a financing provider are routed through that provider under its terms. Confirm delivery problems promptly and keep the original payment and plan documents, especially for a financed annual purchase.

The pharmacy behind the medicine
It does not name its pharmacy. Vaylen does not publicly disclose which compounding pharmacy fills its prescriptions. That is common and it is not an accusation — but it does mean the one thing you would most want to verify about a compounded medicine is the one thing you cannot.
A compounded drug is mixed to order by a pharmacy rather than manufactured and released as a finished product, so the FDA has not reviewed the specific preparation you are prescribed for safety, effectiveness or quality. That is true of every compounded program, including the highest-scoring ones.
What else do people ask about Vaylen?
Can I pay $83 monthly for semaglutide?
That figure is the equivalent of a $996 upfront twelve-month purchase. The separately listed independent monthly injection option is $129. Compare the full initial payment, cancellation flexibility and refund policy before choosing; an annual equivalent does not mean twelve optional monthly payments.
What is the current tirzepatide injection price?
The public selector lists $179 for month-to-month care or $1,488 upfront for twelve months, equivalent to $124 per month. The company describes medication, clinical review, monthly check-ins, shipping and messaging within the program price. Confirm the actual prescription and selected term before enrolling.
Are medical consultations charged separately?
The terms and consent say the professional consultation fee is included in the program total rather than billed as a separate surprise fee. The current pricing page also describes ongoing care within the plan. Ask whether any individually required testing or recommended alternative medicine changes the quoted treatment arrangement.
Who provides the clinical care?
The current program footer names MDI Medical Group, P.C., through MD Integrations, while the linked terms name OpenLoop Health. Those are different descriptions. Ask for the actual medical practice and clinician assigned to your enrollment rather than assuming one statement resolves the other.
Is an annual plan refundable if I stop treatment?
The policy says prepaid programs are refundable if the clinician declines to prescribe, but not after approval and the program has begun. A guaranteed prorated refund for unused annual months is not established. If flexibility matters, consider the separately priced monthly plan and confirm its next billing deadline.
Is the service available in every state?
The landing page says all fifty states, while its terms say forty-nine without identifying the excluded state. Confirm the actual clinical and pharmacy availability for your location and selected preparation before paying.
