Price transparency
What is disclosed before intake, not a clinical rating.
Klarity Health is a marketplace for choosing an independent clinician, including providers who offer online weight-management care and GLP-1 prescribing. Self-pay consultations start at $51, but that is a visit price rather than a medication bundle. The experience, follow-up fees, insurance participation and prescribing options depend on the practice you book, so compare the individual provider’s terms as carefully as the platform headline.
Klarity Health does not pay us. We review it so you can compare it with the programs that do. Disclosure

The verdict
Klarity Health shows its price before the medical intake, but leaves gaps, such as what the advertised price includes or which pharmacy fills the prescription. It ranks 141 of 293 on price transparency.
The score beside Klarity Health's name rates how much it tells you before the medical intake — the price, the pharmacy and the terms — not how cheap it is.

What do you get with Klarity Health?
- A directory that lets you search by state and insurance and select an independent healthcare provider rather than accept one uniform clinic program.
- Online medical evaluation and an individualized plan that can include medication, behavioral counseling or other support when appropriate.
- Named medication possibilities including Wegovy and Ozempic semaglutide, Zepbound and Mounjaro tirzepatide, and other weight-management medicines; not every clinician prescribes every option.
- Follow-up visits and messaging through the available practice arrangement, with the ability to choose a continuing provider and discuss side effects or treatment changes.
- Cash-pay and insurance routes, including advertised HSA/FSA reimbursement support; your specific provider, benefit and services determine eligibility and charges.
How does Klarity Health work?
Find a practice in your state
Filter for location, insurance and weight-loss care, then review the clinician’s profile and available appointments. The weight-loss page describes a 50-state provider network, while the general company page describes availability in more than 45 states. The actual provider search is the practical test of access.
Read the practice’s offer
Check the initial and follow-up consultation fees, whether messaging is included and who handles prescription questions. Klarity Health, Inc. supplies the technology marketplace; independent private practices provide medical services and retain prescribing autonomy. A platform assessment or free plan does not replace the clinician’s evaluation.
Complete the consultation
Discuss your history, current medicines, prior weight-loss treatment and budget. The provider may recommend labs or an in-person visit where needed. If medication is appropriate, ask for the formulation, pharmacy and expected out-of-pocket price, including any insurance authorization requirements.
Plan ongoing appointments
Confirm how often the clinician expects follow-up and what each visit costs. Keep the practice’s booking and cancellation policy, which can differ from the platform standard when disclosed at checkout. Maintain enough time for refill review rather than assuming a paid appointment guarantees immediate pharmacy availability.
How much does Klarity Health cost?
Named branded semaglutide options; provider visits from $51, pharmacy/labs and ongoing care vary; ongoing month-to-month total not established.
Named branded tirzepatide options; provider visits from $51, pharmacy/labs and ongoing care vary; ongoing month-to-month total not established.
Company advertises a national clinician network; the provider search determines actual state, treatment and insurance access.
The weight-loss page advertises self-pay consultations starting at $51 and pay-as-you-go care without subscriptions. This does not include an established medication price. Independent practices set their own fees, and insured visits depend on provider participation, copays, deductibles and claims. A useful budget combines initial care, expected follow-ups, required testing and the separately confirmed pharmacy charge.
- The platform’s billing policy requires a $10 nonrefundable deposit for an initial self-pay visit, with the remainder charged 24 hours before the appointment. Follow-up and refill appointment charges follow their scheduled billing rules; confirm the exact amount before booking.
- Standard self-pay appointment cancellation at least 24 hours ahead can qualify for a refund, excluding the initial $10 deposit. Late cancellations, no-shows and completed services generally do not qualify for a refund under the platform policy.
- The policy allows providers to publish custom cancellation and no-show terms at checkout. Read the terms attached to the actual appointment; the platform’s general statement is not a promise that every practice has the identical fee.
- Medication dissatisfaction or a pharmacy prescription problem does not automatically make a completed consultation refundable. Ask how the clinician handles denied coverage, unavailable products or a treatment recommendation you choose not to start.
- For insured appointments, the provider bills insurance directly. Klarity says insurance-related adjustments, reimbursements and overpayments must be resolved with the provider or insurer rather than refunded by the platform. Confirm network status for the particular clinician.
- The site’s broad insurance count and HSA/FSA statements describe possible access rather than guaranteed payment for your treatment. Ask for an itemized estimate and discuss both medical-visit coverage and prescription benefits before relying on a low advertised appointment minimum.

What are Klarity Health's pros and cons?
Pros
- Provider choice and state/insurance filtering support a more individual care relationship
- Both branded molecules are explicitly named in the weight-loss options
- The pay-as-you-go model avoids a mandatory advertised subscription
- The billing policy explains the deposit and standard advance-cancellation rules
Cons
- The lowest consultation price does not establish the total cost of treatment
- Independent providers can have different fees and policies
- Insurance approval and medication availability remain separate from booking
- State coverage claims vary between the general company and treatment pages
The pharmacy behind the medicine
It does not name its pharmacy. Klarity Health does not publicly disclose which compounding pharmacy fills its prescriptions. That is common and it is not an accusation — but it does mean the one thing you would most want to verify about a compounded medicine is the one thing you cannot.
A compounded drug is mixed to order by a pharmacy rather than manufactured and released as a finished product, so the FDA has not reviewed the specific preparation you are prescribed for safety, effectiveness or quality. That is true of every compounded program, including the highest-scoring ones.
What else do people ask about Klarity Health?
Is Klarity’s $51 price for medication?
No. The weight-loss page labels it as a starting self-pay consultation price. The independent clinician’s visit fees, follow-up schedule, testing and pharmacy prescription determine the full expense. Ask the specific practice for an estimate instead of comparing a consultation-only minimum with a bundled medication subscription.
Does Klarity itself prescribe GLP-1 medicines?
Independent licensed practitioners provide medical services through the platform. Klarity Health, Inc. says it does not provide medical services. A clinician can prescribe when appropriate, but a particular drug, dose or diagnosis is not guaranteed, and not every provider offers every treatment shown on the platform’s general menu.
Can I choose the same provider for follow-up?
The platform promotes choosing a dedicated provider for continuity. Confirm the practice’s schedule, follow-up fees and messaging arrangement before the initial visit. Ask how refill requests are handled between appointments and whether someone else covers clinical questions when your chosen clinician is unavailable.
What happens if I cancel a self-pay appointment?
Under the standard policy, canceling at least 24 hours ahead can qualify for a refund, but the initial $10 deposit remains nonrefundable. Late cancellation, no-show or completed care usually does not. A provider can disclose custom rules at checkout, so retain the policy attached to your appointment.
Can I use insurance?
Many providers accept insurance, but network participation depends on the individual practice and plan. Consultation coverage does not establish GLP-1 prescription coverage. The billing policy directs insurance adjustments and overpayment questions to the provider or insurer. Check both benefits before booking a treatment principally for medication access.
Are medication and testing always included in visits?
No complete bundled medication-and-testing price is established by the $51 consultation headline. The clinician may recommend lab work or other evaluation based on your history. Ask which services are billed by the practice, laboratory or pharmacy and what needs to be completed before a prescription decision.
