MEDvidi review

Price transparency

What is disclosed before intake, not a clinical rating.

MEDvidi provides scheduled online medical weight-loss visits with branded GLP-1 prescribing when appropriate. Its published fees are for appointments: $195 initially, $159 for a follow-up or $249 for an introductory-plus-follow-up package. Medication is a separate pharmacy expense. This model suits someone who wants a clinician visit without a required weight-loss membership, provided appointment availability, medication access and the cancellation rules fit their needs.

The verdict

MEDvidi shows its price before the medical intake, but leaves gaps, such as what the advertised price includes or which pharmacy fills the prescription. It ranks 143 of 293 on price transparency.

The score beside MEDvidi's name rates how much it tells you before the medical intake — the price, the pharmacy and the terms — not how cheap it is.

What do you get with MEDvidi?

  • A scheduled online assessment with a licensed medical provider and a personalized weight-management plan
  • Prescribing options including Wegovy and Zepbound when clinically appropriate, alongside other weight-management treatments
  • Follow-up appointments that can reassess progress and treatment rather than a guaranteed recurring medication shipment
  • A published per-visit pricing model with an optional introductory-and-follow-up package
  • Prescription fulfillment through a pharmacy, whose stock and acceptance policies remain separate from the consultation service

How does MEDvidi work?

  1. Check location and prescription access

MEDvidi’s weight-loss page cautions that some states require an in-person visit for certain weight-loss prescriptions. Ask about your exact state, medication and consultation format before buying an appointment. Branded GLP-1s and other treatments on the site have different prescribing requirements, so a restriction affecting one medicine should not automatically be generalized to all of them.

  2. Choose a visit or two-visit package

The published schedule separates an initial assessment, follow-up and a discounted pair. Compare how much follow-up you actually need, when the second visit can be used and what happens if the clinician recommends a different treatment route. A consultation package is not a two-month medication supply and does not establish a predictable monthly drug cost.

  3. Attend the medical consultation

Provide your history, current medication, previous treatment and pharmacy details. The clinician decides whether medication is appropriate and which follow-up is needed. Keep a reliable connection and join on time: the refund policy defines a patient no-show to include failing to log in within five minutes when the provider is available.

  4. Fill the prescription and schedule follow-up

Check drug coverage, any required prior authorization and the pharmacy’s stock or telehealth prescription policies. MEDvidi says pharmacy refusal or shortage does not by itself qualify the consultation fee for a refund. If you need to change the next appointment, act at least eight hours ahead and retain the rescheduling or cancellation confirmation.

How much does MEDvidi cost?

Semaglutide

Branded semaglutide medication extra; visits $195 initial/$159 follow-up or $249 pair; ongoing month-to-month total not established.

Tirzepatide

Branded tirzepatide medication extra; visits $195 initial/$159 follow-up or $249 pair; ongoing month-to-month total not established.

Where it operates

Company advertises location-dependent prescribing; some services require in-person care. Confirm access for the specific GLP-1 medicine.

The weight-loss page lists $195 for an introductory consultation, $159 for a follow-up and $249 for an introductory-plus-follow-up package. These are professional appointment charges rather than medication-inclusive subscriptions. A complete semaglutide or tirzepatide budget also needs the actual branded prescription cost, insurance terms and clinically appropriate follow-up frequency. No universal ongoing monthly drug-and-care total follows from the visit fee.

  • The medication-specific pharmacy price is separate from the consultation. Ask whether any lab work, authorization assistance or additional visit is required, and obtain the relevant charge before assuming the appointment fee settles the full treatment cost.
  • The refund policy, updated May 5, 2025, allows a full appointment refund for cancellation at least eight hours before the scheduled time. It also covers specified provider-side problems, including some technical failures, incorrect state assignment or an unavailable provider.
  • A patient cancellation or rescheduling request inside eight hours is described as nonrefundable and can also incur a $50 fee. A no-show can incur a $100 fee in addition to losing the appointment refund. Outstanding fees can prevent booking another visit.
  • Once an appointment begins, the policy generally excludes refunds, apart from listed provider-side technical or assignment issues. A clinician’s decision not to prescribe a desired medicine should not be treated as a failed retail medication purchase.
  • Refund requests generally must be made within fifteen days of payment when no services have been provided and an eligible condition applies. Documented emergency exceptions require supporting information within 72 hours of the missed visit. Approved refunds can take additional bank processing time.
  • The medical-services conditions describe MEDvidi, Inc. as the management company and MEDvidi P.C. as the medical practice. They include broad disclaimers and a liability limit tied to amounts paid during the membership term, subject to applicable law. Ask which specific visit agreement applies to your purchase.

Who is MEDvidi best for?

A good fit if

  • Adults who prefer a scheduled clinician conversation to a medication-bundle checkout
  • Patients who want to pay for appointments rather than a required ongoing weight-loss membership
  • People with a workable branded medication benefit or separate pharmacy budget

Look elsewhere if

  • Shoppers expecting $195 or $249 to include a GLP-1 medication supply
  • Patients needing a guaranteed prescription or assurance that their pharmacy will fill it
  • People whose schedules make eight-hour cancellation and punctual attendance difficult

What are MEDvidi's pros and cons?

Pros

  • The appointment schedule is publicly itemized
  • A two-visit package provides a clear alternative to paying for visits individually
  • The refund policy explains concrete timing, fees and provider-side exceptions

Cons

  • Drug spending and follow-up frequency remain separate budget variables
  • Late changes and missed appointments can create substantial additional fees
  • Pharmacy refusal or stock problems do not ordinarily trigger an appointment refund

The pharmacy behind the medicine

It does not name its pharmacy. MEDvidi does not publicly disclose which compounding pharmacy fills its prescriptions. That is common and it is not an accusation — but it does mean the one thing you would most want to verify about a compounded medicine is the one thing you cannot.

A compounded drug is mixed to order by a pharmacy rather than manufactured and released as a finished product, so the FDA has not reviewed the specific preparation you are prescribed for safety, effectiveness or quality. That is true of every compounded program, including the highest-scoring ones.

What else do people ask about MEDvidi?

Does the $249 package include medication?

No. It is advertised as an introductory consultation plus a follow-up appointment. The medication is a separate pharmacy purchase. Ask about the exact drug cost and how the package’s second visit is scheduled before treating it as a full monthly program.

Can MEDvidi prescribe Wegovy or Zepbound?

The weight-loss menu lists those branded options, subject to a clinician deciding they are appropriate. An online appointment does not guarantee a prescription. Confirm location-specific access and the pharmacy route before paying when your decision depends on one particular medication.

How early must I cancel an appointment?

The refund policy says at least eight hours before the scheduled time for the timely-cancellation full-refund route. A later cancellation or rescheduling request can lose the refund and incur a $50 fee. Keep the confirmation rather than assuming an unanswered message stops the appointment.

What counts as a no-show?

The policy includes not attending or not logging in within five minutes of the appointment when the provider is available. It describes a $100 no-show fee and no appointment refund. Join early enough to resolve routine connection or login problems.

What if my pharmacy refuses the prescription?

MEDvidi’s policy does not grant a consultation refund for a pharmacy’s policies or stock availability. The service says it can assist with alternatives. Check your preferred pharmacy’s acceptance and expected stock before the appointment where practical.

Are emergency cancellation exceptions possible?

The policy allows consideration of documented emergencies on a case-by-case basis. It requests supporting documents within 72 hours of the missed appointment. That is a possible exception rather than a guaranteed waiver, so contact support promptly and explain the circumstances.
