Price transparency
What is disclosed before intake, not a clinical rating.
PlexusDx offers online compounded GLP-1 programs with separate standard-dose and microdose options. Its public selector lists standard semaglutide at $149 month to month and standard tirzepatide at $189; the smaller $99 and $129 headlines require twelve-month plans. Its current GLP-specific refund policy is unusually detailed, making it useful to compare if you want clear pause and medical-discontinuation rules before considering prepayment.

The verdict
PlexusDx shows its price before the medical intake, but leaves gaps, such as what the advertised price includes or which pharmacy fills the prescription. It ranks 75 of 293 on price transparency.
The score beside PlexusDx's name rates how much it tells you before the medical intake — the price, the pharmacy and the terms — not how cheap it is.

What do you get with PlexusDx?

- Compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide injections in distinct standard-dose and microdose programs
- Clinical visits, administration supplies and free two-day shipping advertised within the program price
- Pharmacist support, meal resources and optional blood-testing support

How does PlexusDx work?
Choose standard treatment or microdose
The public selector separates the medication and dosing category. Its lowest $69 figure is a twelve-month microdose equivalent, while the standard injection plans have different prices. Ask the clinician which preparation and dosing approach is appropriate. The microdose label does not establish equivalent outcomes or make a lower-dose plan a substitute for the standard program.
Complete the clinical assessment
The current terms name Lone Star Virtual Health for independent clinical care and Bask Health as the telehealth platform. Provide health history, current medicines and prior treatment. The company may verify your payment method, but says the treatment charge is not captured until clinical approval. More information can be requested while the assessment remains pending.
Compare the full payment and renewal
The one-month plan renews monthly. Three-, six- and twelve-month plans are prepaid in full and renew for their respective terms. Review the actual amount charged now and the supply or dispensing schedule; financing installments do not turn an annual plan into a monthly medication purchase. Ask how a change in prescription affects unused prepaid value.
Use the portal and inspect deliveries
Manage subscription controls stop future renewal before processing. Support requests need additional lead time. Save the electronic confirmation after canceling or pausing. On delivery, inspect the package and contact support promptly for missing medication, damage or temperature concerns. Follow the actual dispensing pharmacy’s instructions rather than relying on a generic two-day shipping description.
How much does PlexusDx cost?
Standard compounded injection $149/mo month-to-month; $99/mo equivalent requires 12 months prepaid. Microdose is separate.
Standard compounded injection $189/mo month-to-month; $129/mo equivalent requires 12 months prepaid. Microdose is separate.

The public pricing selector lists standard semaglutide at $149 month to month, or $129, $109 and $99 monthly equivalents for three-, six- and twelve-month plans. Standard tirzepatide is $189 month to month, with $169, $149 and $129 equivalents for those longer terms. Microdose plans for either molecule list $99 monthly or $89, $79 and $69 equivalents. The terms say longer plans are paid in full after approval.
- For standard annual treatment, the displayed equivalents represent $1,188 for semaglutide or $1,548 for tirzepatide upfront. The $69 microdose annual equivalent represents $828. Compare those totals and the clinical program, rather than treating the lowest equivalent as a cancellable monthly price.
- The current GLP-specific terms were updated October 19, 2026, and its refund policy October 15, 2026. Cancel future renewal through Manage subscription before the renewal charge is processed. Email or support requests should arrive at least three business days ahead. Ordinary cancellation does not prorate an existing prepaid term.
- Before clinical approval, withdrawal owes $0. After approval, a full cancellation refund is available if the prescription has not been transmitted to the dispensing pharmacy. After transmission, a change of mind or plan pause generally does not qualify the existing order for a refund.
- A portal pause can freeze future billing, fulfillment, remaining prepaid treatment time and the renewal clock for one to twelve months, preserving the plan price. Resuming may need clinical reassessment. Already-paid treatment remains available when future renewal is canceled, subject to clinical appropriateness.
- Provider-directed medical discontinuation can qualify unused, not-yet-dispensed prepaid months for a refund at the equivalent actually paid. If the pharmacy has not shipped within ten business days of receiving the prescription, the policy permits requesting cancellation and a full refund unless you choose to keep waiting.
- Report delivery concerns as soon as possible and generally within twenty-four hours. The policy preserves handling of fulfillment failures and unused treatment that can no longer be provided. The current platform terms cap certain direct liability at the greater of $500 or fees paid in the prior twelve months, subject to applicable law.

- Current GLP-specific policies explain pauses, medical discontinuation and fulfillment failures

- A short delivery-problem reporting window requires prompt inspection
The pharmacy behind the medicine
It does not name its pharmacy. PlexusDx does not publicly disclose which compounding pharmacy fills its prescriptions. That is common and it is not an accusation — but it does mean the one thing you would most want to verify about a compounded medicine is the one thing you cannot.
A compounded drug is mixed to order by a pharmacy rather than manufactured and released as a finished product, so the FDA has not reviewed the specific preparation you are prescribed for safety, effectiveness or quality. That is true of every compounded program, including the highest-scoring ones.
What else do people ask about PlexusDx?
What are the standard monthly injection prices?
The public selector lists $149 month to month for standard semaglutide and $189 for standard tirzepatide. The $99 and $129 standard headlines are twelve-month equivalents requiring full prepayment. Confirm the selected medication, dosing category and term on the order summary.
What does the $69 offer mean?
It is the monthly equivalent of a twelve-month microdose plan, totaling $828 upfront. Microdose plans are separate from standard treatment. Ask the clinician which approach is appropriate; a lower price does not establish the same dose, expected benefit or medical suitability.
Can I cancel before the pharmacy receives my prescription?
The current policy says withdrawal before approval owes $0, and cancellation after approval can receive a full refund if the prescription has not yet been transmitted to the pharmacy. Act promptly and obtain confirmation, because later ordinary cancellation generally stops only future renewal.
What happens if I pause a prepaid plan?
The policy says a portal pause freezes future billing, fulfillment, remaining prepaid treatment time and the renewal clock while preserving price. Pauses can be one to twelve months, and resuming may require clinical reassessment. This differs from an ordinary cancellation refund.
What if the provider says I must discontinue treatment?
The current policy provides for a refund of unused, not-yet-dispensed prepaid months when the independent provider determines medical discontinuation is needed. The calculation uses the monthly-equivalent rate actually paid. Ask which months remain eligible before assuming the entire original payment is refundable.
What if my medication does not ship?
If UPS has not taken possession within ten business days after pharmacy transmission, the policy allows requesting cancellation and a full refund unless you affirmatively choose to wait. Delivery problems have separate reporting rules, generally asking for notice within twenty-four hours of recorded delivery.
