FitRx review

Price transparency

What is disclosed before intake, not a clinical rating.

FitRx offers an online route to prescription weight care through independent medical groups, with both insurance-dependent brand-name options and compounded semaglutide. Its public $151 monthly semaglutide headline requires a quarterly purchase; the $25 brand offer depends on insurance. The membership policy also distinguishes ordinary access fees from specifically named medication-inclusive programs. Compare the actual plan and pharmacy payment together before treating either headline as your continuing monthly cost.

The verdict

FitRx shows a price before the medical intake, but the advertised figure comes with conditions the headline leaves out, or its own terms don't fully back it up. It ranks 312 of 358 on price transparency.

The score beside FitRx's name rates how much it tells you before the medical intake — the price, the pharmacy and the terms — not how cheap it is.

What do you get with FitRx?

  • Online assessment and independent clinician evaluation for weight-management treatment.
  • Brand-name prescriptions where appropriate, with insurance coordination described.
  • A compounded semaglutide option advertised with a quarterly purchase.
  • Provider communication and injection supplies described with selected medication offers.
  • Account-based membership management, with separate pharmacy fulfillment terms.

How does FitRx work?

  1. Choose the relevant treatment route

Start with the current weight-care assessment, which opens the patient application. The brand-name and compounded routes have different payment assumptions. Explain previous treatment, current medicines, medical conditions and your goals so the treating professional can assess suitability. An advertised medication, completed questionnaire or insurance card does not guarantee a prescription or coverage.

  2. Confirm who provides your care

The telehealth consent names Bruno Health, P.A., and affiliated medical groups. The terms additionally refer to Outlast Health and affiliated providers, while the site footer identifies FitRx, Inc. The platform and medical group have different responsibilities. Obtain the treating clinician’s name, practice and license for the state where you will actually receive care, rather than assuming the brand itself practices medicine.

  3. Review membership and medication together

The subscription policy says ordinary membership does not inherently include medication or pharmacy fulfillment. It separately names Semaglutide + Doctor and Tirzepatide + Doctor programs that do include those costs. Ask which precise agreement accompanies the selected offer, what is paid to the platform and pharmacy, and whether an insurance denial changes the proposed treatment or your financial obligation.

  4. Plan refills and follow-up

Provider access is described with the medication offer, but ask how to contact the clinical team, expected response times and whether follow-up or updated testing is required before refills. The membership automatically renews unless canceled. Confirm its billing interval separately from the pharmacy shipment schedule and avoid assuming that pausing medication stops the access subscription.

How much does FitRx cost?

Semaglutide

Compounded semaglutide from $151/month requires quarterly purchase; medication-inclusive versus separate membership arrangement and ongoing month-to-month total not established.

Tirzepatide

Brand-name tirzepatide products advertised from $25/month with insurance; complete cash prescription and ongoing month-to-month total not established.

Where it operates

Confirm clinical and pharmacy eligibility for your actual state, medication and formulation; public national access language does not establish every prescription in every state.

The weight page advertises compounded semaglutide from $151 per month when purchased quarterly, alongside Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound and Mounjaro from $25 per month with insurance. Neither figure establishes a complete ordinary month-to-month cash total. The precise medication, coverage, quantity, membership arrangement and renewal matter. The reviewed page does not establish an equivalent public compounded tirzepatide amount.

  • FDA’s February 20, 2026 warning letter to FitRX, LLC dba FitRx identifies this service’s website and criticizes misleading compounder labeling and compounded-product claims implying FDA evaluation. Compounded medicines are not FDA-approved. Consider the letter’s historical findings alongside the current agreement and actual prescription, and confirm the dispensing pharmacy.
  • The compounded semaglutide headline is explicitly quarterly. Request the full amount due for that purchase, the prescribed supply and the ordinary rate after any promotion. A quarterly equivalent should not be compared directly with a flexible one-month order. Confirm whether a transferring patient or a different dose changes the available offer.
  • Membership fees pay for access and support services under the policy; medication and fulfillment ordinarily cost extra. The named Doctor combination programs are exceptions. Obtain an itemized agreement identifying whether your offer is one of those bundles. The presence of included provider access in a product description does not settle the scope of an unrelated access membership.
  • Subscriptions renew for the selected period, and billing need not occur on the exact same calendar date each month. Promotional fees revert to the applicable ordinary charge after the promotional billing periods. The policy describes advance notice when an amount changes, but obtain the actual normal renewal and next processing date before authorizing recurring charges.
  • Manage Membership is the stated account route for stopping renewal. Trial memberships must be canceled before the trial ends to avoid conversion. The policy separately describes correction of an inadvertent charge when a trial was canceled at least thirty-six hours before its end; that is a specific trial provision, not a universal refund guarantee for ordinary subscriptions.
  • Consultation and membership charges are described as nonrefundable. Prescription products cannot be returned after issuance and pharmacy filling. The policy also says an order with delivery confirmation is not refunded and a replacement may require a new purchase. Report delivery problems promptly and retain the pharmacy’s instructions rather than assuming canceled membership reverses an existing medication order.

What are FitRx's pros and cons?

Pros

  • Current online weight-care assessment
  • Medical groups identified in public clinical documents
  • Policy distinguishes ordinary membership from medication-inclusive programs

Cons

  • Public semaglutide headline requires a quarterly purchase
  • Complete normal cash invoice remains unclear

The pharmacy behind the medicine

It does not name its pharmacy. FitRx does not publicly disclose which compounding pharmacy fills its prescriptions. That is common and it is not an accusation — but it does mean the one thing you would most want to verify about a compounded medicine is the one thing you cannot.

A compounded drug is mixed to order by a pharmacy rather than manufactured and released as a finished product, so the FDA has not reviewed the specific preparation you are prescribed for safety, effectiveness or quality. That is true of every compounded program, including the highest-scoring ones.

What else do people ask about FitRx?

Is compounded semaglutide $151 for a single month?

The public offer qualifies that figure with a quarterly purchase. Ask for the full payment, supply and normal renewal, including whether membership and pharmacy fulfillment are included. It does not establish a complete flexible month-to-month price.

Can anyone get a brand-name prescription for $25?

The offer is insurance-dependent. Coverage, approval, deductible, copayment and the specific medicine affect the actual amount. The clinician must also determine whether the proposed treatment is appropriate. An advertised insured example does not guarantee access or establish a cash price.

Does the membership include medication?

The policy says ordinary membership does not inherently include medication or fulfillment. It names Semaglutide + Doctor and Tirzepatide + Doctor as exceptions that bundle these with membership. Identify the exact program on your agreement before paying.

Who makes prescribing decisions?

Independent medical providers do. The consent names Bruno Health and affiliated groups, while the terms also reference Outlast Health. Confirm your assigned clinician and practice for your location; the platform name alone does not identify the person responsible for treatment.

How do I stop a subscription?

Use the account’s Manage Membership control and keep confirmation before the next renewal. Trial conversion has its own deadline and correction provision. Also contact the clinical team and pharmacy about pending refills; stopping access billing may not stop an order already being prepared.

Are prescribed medicines refundable?

The public policies make filled prescription products final and describe consultation and membership charges as nonrefundable. A delivery-confirmed order can require a new paid replacement. Ask the assigned pharmacy how to report an incorrect, damaged or missing shipment and follow its instructions promptly.
