Read the selected medicine offer beyond the minimum
The program advertises separate branded-drug starting prices, with low-dose and introductory conditions in the footnotes. A Wegovy pen promotion changes after its first two qualifying fills, while oral and higher-dose products have different amounts. Ask for the actual preparation, current dose, complete pharmacy payment and the price after any promotion. The care charge remains another obligation rather than being included in the displayed medicine minimum.
Confirm the first charge and continuing care cycle
The weight-specific billing article says the initial charge follows clinician approval and the first prescription fill being shipped. It then describes care billing every thirty days in advance of the telehealth visit, with medication paid separately. Obtain the selected agreement and distinguish a card authorization from a collected payment. A generic subscription description should not replace the weight service’s actual first-charge timing.

The pharmacy behind the medicine
It does not name its pharmacy. GoodRx Care Direct does not publicly disclose which compounding pharmacy fills its prescriptions. That is common and it is not an accusation — but it does mean the one thing you would most want to verify about a compounded medicine is the one thing you cannot.
A compounded drug is mixed to order by a pharmacy rather than manufactured and released as a finished product, so the FDA has not reviewed the specific preparation you are prescribed for safety, effectiveness or quality. That is true of every compounded program, including the highest-scoring ones.
